I'm Absolutely Certain I Would Have Had Nightmares For All Of Eternity.

Check out these original concept drawings for the Joker in The Dark Knight

When I came across these, I nearly shit myself. These look like they should fit a character in a horror film rather than a blockbuster summer hit that children are most likely to see. Stay tuned! Not only are you going to be haunted by the sudden death of the cast member but now when you look at him you'll be pushed that much further off the edge!

I'm glad they went the path they did.

The Dark Knight Was Amazing, But You Already Knew That.

the dark knight

I saw it last night. I don't want to ruin it for everyone but, Heath Ledger dies at the end of this one. OUCH! Too soon?

Of all the mayhem and drama for somebody's momma the only question I was left with at the end was: Why do the people of Gotham city continue to live there? Here's what I come up with. They MUST be getting some type of government stimulus like the Alaskan people to do live there. Afterall, 'tis quite the popular city. But then wait, that's a lot of money to just give away...but then the mob was in control for a little while...ugh nevermind.

Don't wait to see it! Half the fun is trying to find a seat in the movie theater amidst 30 thousand other people who have come out to see Heath Ledger's final hurrah. And there's always an added bonus when you get in an argument with another patron!

I'm A Big Brave Dog!

I watched it. It was awful. And from what I gathered, the basic premise of this movie is different ways in which people commit suicide. From what? Maybe that's what will get people to go and watch it. Terrorists? Adultery? Not recycling and taking care of the environment? Perhaps. After all the latter is now considered a mortal sin.

So now. Decision time. To see, or not to see...that is the question.

To see? It was shot in Phoenixville and I have to see how they made us look!
Not to see? I'm pretty sure this R-rated version is self explanatory.

Oh the anticipation...

I'm A Big Brave Dog, I'm A Big Brave Dog...

Tonight I saw a trailer for The Happening when my roommate was telling me about a supposed R -rated version of it floating around online somewhere. Being the curious person I am, I took a little google myself and decided to look it up- despite the protest from her about how sick it made her feel after watching it.

Now, I'm a baby when it comes to scary things. I avoid scary movies because they fuck with my mind so much. I can't take so much as a scary trailer for a horror movie. Especially at night. I already have a hard enough time falling asleep without making something of a random shadow on my wall or a pile of clothes at the foot of my bed. But when I heard about this awful version of the movie trailer I never thought it'd be something that may fuck with my sleep tonight.

Until I saw the still image from the clip on this website:

Lucky for me the "Play Now" button was strategically placed in front of the face of the bloody man WHO by the way, I am always afraid of randomely spotting in my car headlights in the dark at home. Only the still image of it scared me away! Just thinking about how close I was to having nightmares makes me shiver. Thank god for that first screen shot otherwise I'd be up all night and/or sleeping with the lights on.

SO I think I'll wait until tomorrow morning to watch this one. I'd rather something fuck with my head during the day when it's light out, there are other people around and other things going on than having me lay quietly in bed in the dark with nothing but me in my mind...
